Terms of Service

Who these terms cover

These terms apply to anyone using this website, WriteExpertBook, operated by Global Book Publishing (GBP), and to anyone engaging GBP for book writing, publishing, marketing, or related services. Using this site or working with us means you accept these terms.

What this website is

This site provides information about writing and publishing a book, free resources like the Expert Book Blueprint and the newsletter, and a way to book a call or purchase services. Content on this site is general information, not a guarantee of any specific outcome for your book. See our disclaimer for the specifics on results and guarantees.

Services and separate agreements

Any paid engagement (writing, publishing, marketing, or related services) is governed by its own signed agreement, which will spell out deliverables, timelines, pricing, and rights in detail. These general terms don't replace that agreement; where the two conflict, your signed service agreement controls. [NEEDS CONFIRMATION: link or reference to the standard service agreement template once finalized].

Intellectual property

You keep 100% of the rights, royalties, and intellectual property in the book you write with us. Content on this website itself (the text, design, and resources we publish, like the Blueprint) belongs to GBP and may not be reproduced without permission.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to submit false information, attempt to compromise its security, or scrape its content for unauthorized reuse. Forms exist for real inquiries from real people.

No guarantee of results

Nothing on this site is a promise of income, sales, or any specific result for your book. Any revenue or results example described anywhere on this site is a description of what happened for us or a specific client, not a projection for you. The only guarantee that applies to any engagement is the specific, scoped guarantee described in writing on that service's own page and in your signed agreement, never a general promise of a "guaranteed bestseller." See the full disclaimer.

Limitation of liability

[NEEDS CONFIRMATION: standard limitation-of-liability language, to be drafted or reviewed by counsel for your jurisdiction].

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, US. [NEEDS CONFIRMATION: confirm final governing law and venue with counsel].
